Keds

In support of Boston’s own Artists for Humanity, Keds is launching an eco-friendly shoe. A portion of the profits are going straight to Artists for Humanity to help fund their after school art programs. Pretty nice of Keds if you ask me. The shoes themselves use organic and recycled materials as well as water based inks. Rad! The water bottle print, designed by aspiring artists at Artists for Humanity, is meant to express concern about the environmental impact of bottled water consumption. This is a legitimate concern since personally, I think the trend in water bottles that has developed since the turn of the millennium is really just some marketing ploy by water companies. But that’s just me.
