Beneath the Roses, the new book by Gregory Crewdson was released on the 1st and it is absolutely gorgeous. Crewdson’s photos are very large scale, and he makes an epic production out of photography. He has full crews of hundreds of people that work all day to set up these shoots, similar to a film crew.
You may ask, why not just make a film? And his response is very eloquent, because you can tell just as complex a story with a single image.
The publication is somewhat expensive, but worth every penny.

Yeah that is cool shit man. I am totally into that kind of photography, I love symmetry and excess and those photos do a beautiful job combining them. Good shit.
