MBTA Control Room More Impressive than NASA Mission Control

MBTA Control Room

This is a photograph of the inside of Boston’s MBTA control room, and it is unbelievably impressive. You can view more pictures of their horribly ugly subway cars at their site. What I really can’t understand, is how the hell they have such a mind boggling control room, and are billions of dollars in debt to the state of Massachusetts, and yet somehow they have the most horribly unreliable service I have ever seen in a major city. WTF.

Nasa Mission Control Center

This on the other hand is NASA Mission Control center, the original location where they launched the Apollo missions. I guess they spent all of their money on building the space ship and ran out of budget to make the control room look remotely interesting. This place isn’t being used anymore, but it is still completely preserved and you can go visit it.

They haven’t released any photos of current mission control that I know of, most likely because it would be some sort of security risk, but based on the current progression, I would guess it looks something like this:
