Here comes a great public art project from the guys at Post Typography and Justin Blemly. They’ve teamed up to create the Public Print Lab in Baltimore. Between the dates of March 15th and April 16, any image file (gif, jpg, etc) sent by email or cell phone to print@publicprintlab.com will automatically print out (in black and white) at the Minstallation Gallery at Baltimore’s Creative Alliance. While this file is printing out at the Creative Alliance, the images will simultaneously post to the Public Print Lab website. All in real time. When the exhibition is closed, all of the printed images will be collected and bound as a book.
