Toxi is the nom de guerre of European interactive designer, Karsten Schmidt. He works in different programming languages and software though some of the most intriguing work to me uses Processing. Toxi has amazing work that simulates human hair, and his work titled “Idea Space” is quite memorable. Best of all, the source code for every piece can be downloaded so mortals can try to comprehend exactly what is going on.
